WHAT TO EXPECT

Arriving

When you arrive at Ewa Elementary School, the best place to park is in the school parking lot behind the cafeteria (follow the signs). You’ll notice that everyone is dressed casually (many of us may go to the beach together after church). You may catch the end of our worship team getting ready to lead. There will be food, coffee, sweet tea, and water at a table when you walk in.

Worship Service

Our service will start at 10:00am. We’ll begin with a few songs of worship, and you’re welcome to sing along or just listen. Then you’ll hear a message taken from a passage in the Bible aimed at making God’s truths applicable to our daily lives. We’ll end our time together with a few more songs.

What About Keiki?

If you have keiki ages 6 months to 3 years, you can drop them off in nursery in the building beside the basketball courts. Kids 4 years old and up will stay with you for the opening worship time, then they’ll be dismissed to line up at the back of the room for their class. They’ll go to our children’s ministry in the same building as the nursery for a fun and meaningful time of Bible stories & activities under the care of loving aunties & uncles.

Ohana Time

If you don’t have to rush off, you are invited and welcome to join us for lunch. Most Sundays we eat lunch together after the service in the cafeteria. As a first time guest, you’ll never be singled out for recognition, so please feel free to connect with others as much or as little as you’d like.
