We’re All Tempted To Betray Jesus

We’re All Tempted To Betray Jesus

In Mark 14 we see ALL of Jesus' closest friends drop Jesus like a fad. They openly argue against what he's saying, fall asleep when he asked them to stay awake with him, betray him for money, and then completely run away from him when he gets arrested. Jesus’...

Eating With Jesus

Eating With Jesus

Have you ever sat down for a meal with family or friends and the meal took a left turn toward awkward-ville? I remember a few meals that ended up being shocking or awkward in my life. Most of them were first dates. There're two meals in Mark 14, and something shocking...

The Search For Glory

The Search For Glory

You and I are searching for glory. It's what we all want. What would happen if God showed it to you? What if he showed his glory to you...but you totally missed it? Peter and a few others saw God's glory in Mark 9 verse 2: After six days Jesus took Peter, James, and...

Can You See Clearly Now?

Can You See Clearly Now?

Do you remember a time when your eyes were open to believe something that you hadn't previously? I used to make fun of people in those inflatable air chairs at the beach. It just looked so silly. But then I encountered one, experienced one, took a nap in one, and now...
